Hi! I'm Shar.  I'm a filmmaker, producer, and writer from Syracuse, New York. And when I was ten, I was obsessed with the TV show, Glee. From there, it took me only a few months to work out that, wait...there are people that spend all day making episodes of Glee? As a job? Now, we're here.

I've had the chance to produce all kinds of projects– branded content, film, television– and what I’ve learned along the way is that no matter the format, the heart of any production is its theme. Every creative choice should support that core idea: What message am I sharing? What do I want the audience to feel, remember, or be inspired to take away with them? Keeping that focus is what helps me craft meaningful stories and makes me a thoughtful producer, writer, and storyteller. I'm also an experienced creative and logistics coordinator who knows the video production pipeline like the back of my hand, and understands that effective communication is the most important component of success. Not to mention, I can get pretty wild with a spreadsheet.

As of 2025, I am the associate producer for WCNY-PBS, and I continue to offers my services as a freelance producer for narrative and branded content. I am also the assistant program producer for the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program. 

I have produced over thirty short film and television projects, with my  work being featured in festivals such as the Los Angeles International Horror Film Festival, the Toronto Documentary Film Festival, the ConnectHer International Film Festival, and accepted as a Short Film Festival Selection at Cannes. I was awarded a Southwest Student Production Emmy for “Best Commercial” in 2021 for my CCRF commercial, “Let Loose”.
